How are you?

Long time I didn't show up.

Today I want to thank DeviantArt for the Eclipse sh*t (half sarcasm, half serious): I have been a Deviant for 10 years and it feels a lifetime. DA was my home, my safe-space .

Last year my internet world fell apart: Eclipse really made my experience with DeviantArt terrible. I lost many active watchers, I lot faves and comments, I lost my community.

I decided to move to Instagram (@ToscaSam). I was reluctant at first, because I hate popular social medias. But I have to admit that Instagram was way more populated than Deviantart and it's full of people who want to see and share art.

Today I reached the same number of followers I had on Deviantart. What took me 10 years here on DA, was achieved in 1 year on Insta.

So, thank you, DA, for making me (kinda forcing, tbh) open my eyes and for once explore the world outside the safe-box.

I still come here to have a look around, to update my page, to see if I have some messages.

DA It's a place that belongs to my heart.

It was sad to say goodbye to it.

Deviantart used to be my home, my favourite place in the whole internet. That's changed, and my heart is still broken. But this time I don't want to talk about Eclipse (unless you want to <3): I want to talk about YOU.

Eclipse is making me using DA less and less, so I'd definitley say it's 100% negative to me.
